Principal's Message

A Reflection on our First Six Months Together

As we reach the midpoint of the school year, I take this opportunity to pause and reflect on my first six months as principal of our wonderful school community. It has been a time of deep learning, connection, and shared purpose.

From the very first day, I have been warmly welcomed by all within our learning community, which is a testament to an evident commitment to the growth of our young people. Thank you for your openness, honesty, and trust. I have seen firsthand the joy each and everyone of our young people bring to learning, the dedication of our skilled helpful adults, and the strength of our parent/family partnerships. Together, we are nurturing a growth learning culture that places our young people at the heart of every decision.

There have, of course, been challenges, but they are only strengthening my belief in the resilience and hope that exists in our community. Each day brings new insights and opportunities to grow, and it is through modelling this with our young people that we know they are building the skills to shape their hope-filled future!

I feel incredibly privileged to lead this learning community and look forward to continuing to build upon the strong foundations already in place. Thank you for walking with me in these early months. I am excited for what lies ahead as we continue this journey together.

Be safe these holidays, rest well - bring on Term 3!
