Christian Service Learning

Christian Service Learning for our Year 7 students is well underway and on Friday, 10 November we ran our first stall to raise funds for our Norbie Care program. Each week, Year 7 students are asked to donate items to the following three areas:

• Friday stalls
• Food for hampers (snack foods)
• Food for Christmas hampers

They are also asked to complete a journal as part of their Christian Service Learning. This gives them an opportunity to reflect on how they felt giving to others, why it's important to give and what they have contributed, both in time and donations.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our Year 7 students to grow by serving others and here is much to be gained when approached 'with an open mind and a loving heart'.
