It has been a busy week for our Defence students.

On Wednesday we celebrated the completion of our Poppy Project with St Joseph’s hosting a delicious afternoon tea with St Mary’s PS and Crib Point PS. The magnificent wreaths were presented to each school.

We sincerely thank all the students, parents and grandmothers who gave their time to make poppies for our project. A special thank you to She-Ron James for all her work to make the project a success.

A huge thank you to all students and families who supported our RSL Remembrance Day fundraiser. We sold every piece of merchandise for which the RSL were very grateful. For more than 100 years, the annual Poppy Appeal has supported Australian veterans and their families. Your donations help the RSL to deliver life-changing support to our veterans when they need it the most.

REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICE-CRIB POINT

Thank you to Ben O’Connell, Alexa Ryan and Hamish Winning for representing our school on Saturday at the Crib Point RSL Remembrance Day service.

Ben and Hamish laid the wreath and Alexa read a poem as part of the service.
