MUSIC

Production

At the start of Week 3 this term we had our whole school production. The show was a resounding success, with students across the school getting up on the stage at the Besen Centre. Thank you so much to all our staff and students who put in such extraordinary work to get the show off the ground. These shows would not happen without community support and we would like to thank all our parents and carers for your support and efforts. From our amazing go-kart, to ironing t-shirts, creating the wonderful set/props to providing costume items. Thank you all for your support.

The students showed incredible confidence, diligence and resilience getting up on the stage and working so hard to create such a lovely performance. Every student blew me away with their skills and confidence. From our foundation students through to Grade 6, our backstage and tech crew and our understudies and main roles. Students gave the show their all and their efforts paid off!

Thank you so much to Becky Hayes for her incredible work creating all the costumes, props and set. The workload you undertook was mammoth and it was a true joy to work with you. Thank you to Ruby Whitfield for all her amazing effort Stage Managing and working with our backstage crew, Brogan Badrock for her stage management & props/set moving prowess and Jason Mulder for his lighting wizardry and work with our Tech Crew. Thank you to Meg Yates, Kristen Bulfin and Rebekah Kelly for their organisation getting all the students on the stage in the right place at the right time. Meg was also our program master, thank you so much for all your amazing organisation and effort with those. Thank you also to our leadership team Marcus, Lou and Anita for all your support.

Please enjoy some of the amazing photos taken by Lachie Outhred (lachlan@threadedfilms.com.au) for our event. Lachie’s photos are so special for us to have, the kids have loved seeing their faces as they walk past the office.

Thank you all so much for your efforts. It’s truly a joy to see the pride and confidence in the student’s faces both inside the music classroom and out.

Instrumental Music Lessons

Hello parents!

Hope you've all had a wonderful start to the year. If your child is interested in learning an instrument in private lessons this year please submit an expression of interest in this website: https://sites.google.com/view/heps-instrumental-lessons/home. Each of our teachers are independent contractors, meaning prices and timetabling requirements will vary. Submitting an EOI will allow the teachers to contact you to discuss details. Thanks!

Thanks,
