Basketball Clinic

This week, students from years 3-6 were lucky enough to have a basketball training session with players from the NBL team the South East Melbourne Phoenix. The Phoenix are currently 3rd on the NBL ladder and so the kids were extremely excited. Each class was able to practise with the players for 3o minutes. 

Money

In Maths, students have been learning all about money. What currency Australia uses and what different combinations of coins can be made to make totals such as $5.60. Students will also have the opportunity to save some money and purchase particular privileges in the classroom. Students will be rewarded with coins from teachers for doing kind things for other people, working hard on all tasks and/or listening intently during lessons.
