Remembrance Day 2023
The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month marks the moment the guns fell silent on the Western Front after the bloodshed of World War I. Over the past century, this moment has been adopted across the globe as a time to remember those who served and sacrificed in all wars and conflicts.
Teesdale Primary School is proud to support the Poppy Appeal. Senior students will visit classrooms over the next couple of weeks selling items to support the Poppy Appeal. Students can bring money to school to purchase the following items:
- Poppies $2 or $5
- Wrist bands $3.
- Key rings and bag tags $4 each
- Pens $5
- Brooch $10 and $20
For more than 100 years, the annual Poppy Appeal has supported Australian veterans and their families. Your donation can help the RSL continue to deliver life-changing support to our veterans when they need it the most.
