Mundijong Police

From Mundijong Police Station Officer-in-Charge, Senior Sergeant Richard Moore.

Hi Folks,

As we approach the end of another month, it's time for our monthly recap on recent events, community safety tips, and commendable officer achievements.

Engaging with Future Generations

Our officers were warmly welcomed at the Cuddles Early Learning and Childcare Centre, Byford. It was a fun experience interacting with the young ones, teaching them about safety and giving them a glimpse into the world of policing. We always cherish opportunities to connect with the youth of our community, when operational opportunities permit.

The Mundijong Oval was buzzing with activity as officers Constable Wielstra and Senior Constable Webster set up our police stall for the Serpentine Jarrahdale Community Safety Event. It was heartening to see the community come forward, discussing concerns and seeking advice. And yes, the little ones seemed to love our junior officer hats and stickers! We look forward to more such engagements.

During the month of November, the Mundijong Police are proudly supporting the 'Mo' this month in support of men's health awareness. Don’t be surprised if you see a police vehicle or two sporting a ‘Mo’ as well. It's our little way of showing solidarity with this significant cause. We extend our deepest gratitude to our officers for their relentless effort in successfully locating a missing person from Serpentine. It is during these critical times that the commitment and dedication of our officers truly shine.

Road Safety Alert

A grave reminder came to us in the form of a recent devastating road crash. We cannot stress enough the importance of keeping distractions at bay, especially mobile phones, while behind the wheel. Your safety, and the safety of others on the road, is paramount. Please, drive responsibly and ensure your vehicles are roadworthy. In conclusion, as the holiday season approaches, let's ensure safety in all we do. Whether it's on the roads, in our homes, or within the community, your well-being matters to us. Remember, we're always here for you. Let's look out for one another and create a safer community.
