During Week 5, Clayfield College proudly participated in the National Week of Action Against Bullying, with our Primary Leaders guiding a range of lunchtime activities to spread the important message: Be Bold, Be Kind, and Speak Up.
Students from across the year levels joined in and enjoyed activities designed to celebrate kindness and inclusion. The playground came alive with vibrant chalk drawings, creative love-heart colouring, and friendship chains that symbolised connection. Gratitude shoutouts gave students the chance to pause and acknowledge the people who make their school days brighter.
One of the most memorable activities was the 'Dance Like No One’s Watching' session. What began as a small group quickly grew into a large, energetic crowd. With music filling the air, students danced freely, laughed together, and celebrated the joy of being part of a community that values respect and belonging.
These activities weren’t just fun, they served as powerful reminders of the impact we can make when we stand together against bullying. The enthusiasm and participation from all year levels showed the strength of our Clayfield spirit and highlighted that kindness, gratitude, and inclusion are at the heart of our community.
Clayfield truly is a place to belong.
