Monash Waverley Division Athletics

Today we sent 17 SJV students to Division Athletics.  These students had qualified for today's event by placing in the top 2 at District Athletics which were held last term.  

Division events have our students competing against a larger number of schools in a much tougher competition, so to qualify for today was an achievment in itself!  All of our students competed at their best and most finished in the Top 8.  We had 2 standout results, with Nick K placing third in the 11 year old boys Triple Jump, and Mason P finishing second in the 9/10 year old boys Discus.  Mason's result means he has now qualified for the Eastern Metro Region Athletics event to be held later this term.  Congratulations Mason, we wish him the very best for this event!

Congratulations to all our Division competitors on their efforts today - we are very proud of you all: Noah D, Duke, Adrian, Ricky, Averie, Zacharia, Destiny, Ivy, Elly, Nyapaar, Olivia, Georgia, Christina, Nick K, Mason P, Oliver C and Noura.  Thanks to Miss Mal and our parents who came to support our students today!
