District Athletics – Thursday 4 September

This Thursday, a number of Wonga Park PS students will proudly represent our school at the Ringwood District Athletics Carnival. These students earned their place through their outstanding efforts at our recent House Athletics Carnival – congratulations to all involved!👉 If your child is competing, please make sure payment and permission are completed on Sentral as soon as possible.

Senior Hooptime – Friday 19 September

Our Year 5 & 6 students are excited to participate in the Senior Hooptime Basketball Competition at Nunawading Stadium.👉 Families of participating students are reminded to finalise payment and permission on Sentral.

In the PE Classroom This Week…

With our Matilda production happening this week, we are putting all our time and energy into delivering an amazing performance. Some PE sessions will be dedicated to rehearsals and final preparations. If time is available for a regular PE lesson, students will focus on activities that build teamwork, develop key skills, and improve their throwing technique.

Visual Art

Due to our Production Week alternative timetable, not all classes will be attending Visual Art this week. For those classes that do have a session, students will be putting the finishing touches on a special project – creating thoughtful gifts for Father’s Day.

This is always a lovely opportunity for students to explore their creativity while making something personal to celebrate and thank the father figures in their lives. We can’t wait to see the wonderful pieces they produce!
