Captain’s Corner

Welcome to Week 9 - Last week of term!

This has been a busy term with swimming lessons and, of course, the production! The next day after the production, our 3 - 6s had the Dendy Athletics Carnival. We then had PJ and hot chocolate day, followed by a fun and colourful book week parade. Another big thanks to Hannah (Oscar’s Mum) for helping with the big canvas of all of the drawings of our favourite characters.

A big congratulations to our Year Six Confirmation candidates, who took part in their Commitment Mass last weekend. They are busy getting ready to make their Sacrament of Confirmation.

The Year 6s have also been busy with our High School Transition Program. And of course, we have to also mention our school swimming program, which has gone very well, and the students loved it!

We are all so proud of our students for finishing Term Three with a smile on their faces, and what a great way to end the term, with Footy Colours Day! Everyone had a great time coming to school with their favourite team colours or outfits.

Next term, we have a few things happening:

We have the T20 cricket competition for our 3 - 6 students. We have 3/4 Camp and it will be an exciting one! We will have a Colour Fun Run towards the end of the year, as well as our Swimming Carnival for 3 - 6, where the houses will compete for the shield. We will also have the Year 5 speeches for their 2026 leadership roles. In the Last week of Term 4, the Year 6s will have their last day graduation and their Big Day out at Gumbia World.

Enjoy your holidays!

See you next term :)
