Primary Cross Country Results
On 16 May, the Primary Cross-Country event was full of energy, determination, and school spirit! A huge congratulations to all our runners who gave it their all on the course!
🥇1st Place: Luther – 319 points
🥈2nd Place: Carey – 295 points
🥉3rd Place: Wesley – 282 points
Well done to Luther for taking the top spot with an incredible team effort! And hats off to Carey and Wesley for their strong performances and sportsmanship. We are proud of every student who participated!
Jocelyn Seamer Education
It was great to have Jocelyn Seamer Education back at Burnie for another round of face-to-face instructional coaching! Teachers and learning support aides from both campuses took part in hands-on sessions, focusing on engaging and targeted literacy practices in our Year 3 & 4 classrooms. The day wrapped up with rich feedback discussions, giving staff the chance to unpack and reflect on the strategies they saw in action.

ENROLMENTS FOR 2026 ARE OPEN!
We encourage our current families with siblings for next year, or beyond, to please lodge an 'Enrolment Enquiry Form' via our website https://www.leighland.tas.edu.au/enquiries as soon as possible to secure your child’s spot, and to assist our Principals in determining vacancies. Once you have submitted your form, we will send you a link to our application form from our new online enrolment system (Funnel). Please note: siblings are not automatically enrolled; completion of the enrolment application & provision of supporting documentation is required for all students.
If you are aware of a new family who are considering enrolment for their child/ren, please encourage them to complete our Enrolment Enquiry Form. We would welcome the opportunity to provide them with our information pack, and organise a tour of our facilities.
