Exciting news, students! We’re launching a House Mascot Design Competition — and we need YOUR creativity to bring our four house teams to life! Each of our school houses will soon have their very own mascot to proudly represent their team. That’s where you come in! We want students from all year levels to design a fun, unique, and colourful mascot that captures the spirit of your house:
Your mascot design can be an animal, character, or creature — as long as it reflects the energy and pride of your house. Your mascot may also represent our school values of Kindness, Respect, and Tenacity in the design or description!
How to Enter:
🏆 Winning designs will be chosen by the Student Leadership Team and school staff, then voted on by the school community. The winning mascots will become part of our house banners, badges, and school spirit events!
We can’t wait to see your ideas come to life. Be bold, be creative, and show us how your house mascot can represent everything that makes our school great!

Foundation students have been learning about the Element of Art, Shape. They used their understanding of shape to create their own animals using a range of shapes.
Year 1 students have been studying Colour Theory. They mixed their own secondary colours from primary coloured paint. They then used their painted paper the create 3 coloured cats - green, purple and orange.
Year 3 and 4 students have been working with clay to create their own tiles.
Foundation and Year 1 students have been learning the lyrics to the National Anthem and reflected on the lyrics by drawing and writing about what being an Australian means to them.
Year 5 and 6 students have been analysing the elements of dance, which includes, Body, Action, Space, Time and Energy. They have also been learning some dance steps to complement their understanding of each element. Here is a photo of 5E practicing some timed Tap Dance moves (on the tiles in the Art Room) to complement their understating of the element of Time.
