MENTAL HEALTH & WELLBEING
Bringing Up Great Kids
Bringing Up Great Kids is a Parenting Course we are hosting at Chilwell next term. We hosted the sessions last year with great success. This is a FREE 6 week course starting on July 30th (term 3). Sessions will be at Chilwell each Tuesday evening. Places fill up quickly so please don’t hesitate to register. Scan the QR code below and mention you’re from Chilwell.
We’d love to see you there.

Puzzle Table
The puzzle table in the library can be used by students before school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays during Calm Club. This can be a quiet, calm buffer between home and starting the school day. Calm Club begins at 8:40am on these days.
Term 2 Peer Supervisors
Peer Supervisors will be out and about during recess and lunch breaks, they will be wearing an orange vest. Our Peer Supervisors can support students to develop:
- Social and emotional skills to assist students to join in a game or find a friend to play with.
- Skills to problem-solve and manage the normal stressors of the playground.
- Healthy relationships and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
Chilwell Community Garden Expressions of Interest!
We anticipate needing support to develop our garden area at the Chilwell Community Garden. This will involve building garden beds, shovelling soil, helping to plant seedlings and helping to get our area all set up. If this sounds like something you’re able to help us with, please email catherine.burns@education.vic.gov.au
Thank you!
