5/6 Camp - by Audrey and Catherine

Camp was really fun and enjoyable. Everything we did was super fun, the food was pretty delicious, and everyone especially enjoyed the activities. The activities were bike riding, where we went on a bike ride along the coast. Pizza making, where we made our pizza dough and cooked it in the pizza oven. Archery/Scavenger hunt, where we started with archery and shot multiple bullseyes, then we moved on to a scavenger hunt on the campgrounds. And the last one was beach initiatives, where we worked in a team to complete challenges. All in all, the camp was so cool and one of the best ever, and it was sad to have to go. But we stayed up so late talking to our friends that we deserved a good night's rest. And I think we all appreciated the teacher’s hard work to plan this and help us have so much fun. We can’t wait to be able to hopefully experience this again!

Foundation

This week in FMM, we have a been exploring, making and problem solving with teen numbers. We learnt that teen numbers are two digit numbers for a reason! The 1 always comes first in a teen number because it stands for one ten, we explored this using tens towers, frames and bundles. What is left goes next as the ones. How cool is that?

Art

This week in art, FMM were very lucky to have some volunteers from Kara's class to lend a hand. Audrey, Amelia, Charlee, Julian, Zoe and Isolina were excellent art teachers and the Foundation students were thrilled to have them in their class.

A big thank you to these 5/6 volunteers, you rock!
