School Philosophy

Orchard Grove Primary School is committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment that engages curiosity, promotes learning, personal growth, and well-being for all students. We strive to develop adaptability and resilience so students can become valued members of the local and global communities and be prepared for future life experiences.

From the Principal

Winter has arrived here at Orchard Grove!

The cold and wet conditions have made for the perfect time for our Beanie Day which we had this week - well done to the JSC for another well-deserving fundraising event. It was fantastic to see the variety of beanies, all helping to keep students warm as they went about their day.

Congratulations to the 7 students who represented the school and the Region at the Regional Cross Country event held on Thursday at Yarra Glen. It is fantastic to have our school at Regional events. We also have Winter Interschool Sports this week, so good luck to our Year 5 and 6 students in their events.

As part of our procedures here at school we often have practice drills and last week we held our termly evacuation drill which was a lockdown drill. This allows us to familiarise students and staff with our procedures and what to do with each particular drill.

Stay Warm everyone!
