LAST WEEK (8)

Last week, we held our annual Athletics Carnival at Barlow Park, a new venue for St Mary's. This year, we saw a significant increase in participation across all events, from the 100m Sprint to the Javelin! Congratulations to Murray House for taking out the Champion House Trophy. We wish those selected for TCS the best of luck with their training leading into this event at the beginning of Term 3.

For the remainder of this term, we are focusing on students attending class on time, ready for learning. Arriving on time supports the teacher and other students in setting up the lesson for effective teaching and learning. Each minute a student is late to class, valuable learning is missed. We would like to ask for your support in making sure your child is at school by 8:25 am for the beginning of the school day.

REMINDERS

BUS TRAVEL SMART CARDS

Throughout this term, Kinetic has been rolling out a new ticketing solution. If you are required to pay a fare, the new ticketing system allows for online top-ups, providing a convenient way to keep track of balances on smart cards.

Students are required to have their cards with them whilst travelling on our services. They must ‘Tap On’ the bus every trip.

All students, even those not eligible for the government assistance card (STAS), will need a smart card.
