SSV STATE CRICKET TRIALS - JENSEN

Congratulations to Jensen who made it to the final stages of the School Sports Victoria trials for cricket. There were around 120 students left trialing, which is not only a fantastic effort, but also a great experience testing your skills against the best 12 year olds in the state. The event was held at the Junction Oval in Melbourne and went for around 3 hours. Jensen began with batting, working on running between wickets, calling and playing good attacking shots. Then a bowling session followed and he finished with fielding. Two highlights for the day were the facilities and spotting/saying hello to 3 Victorian cricketers, Todd Murphy, Matt Short and Sam Harper.

Unfortunately Jensen didn't make the final stage of trials but he really enjoyed the experience. Well done Jensen and we are sure there will be many more opportunities in the future.
