LHS had 4 teams compete in the Yarra Division Netball Competition at Pinks Reserve. All students played in a competitive and friendly manner.
Well done to the ‘Lilydale High 3 Team’ who finished 3rd in Section A, defeating Lilydale Heights in the final.
Congratulations to LHS 1 who played Upper Yarra SC in the Grand Final, winning 21-8. A fantastic team effort. They will now play in the Eastern Metropolitan Region competition next term.

Yarra Ranges Tech School (YRTS)
Year 7s attended YRTS as part of their DigiTech studies to explore 'Game Development' and play their games in VR.
DigiTech
Year 7s have been getting creative and exploring robotics in DigiTech - writing code and helping their creations conquer the race track.

Year 7 Reading Circles
Our first Reading Circles meeting! Students are enjoying reading Hunger Games, Hatchet, Counting by 7s and Parvana with Ms Hemmings.
LHS Athletics Carnival
Thursday 15 August
This is a compulsory event for Year 7 students to attend. Sign Ups for athletic events will happen in their Physical Education class.
For Year 8 students, the carnival is optional. Sign Ups will be completed in Physical Education classes for Year 8 where they must put their name down for an event.
Consent/Payment $15 DUE on Compass by, Sunday 11 August.
Year 8 Adventure Day Camp
Wednesday 28 August
Year 8 students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities at the Oasis Camp in Mt Evelyn.
Students will experience activities such as flying fox, low ropes, laser tag, candle making, reptile experience, bush walk, archery and rock wall and be treated to a cooked two course lunch.
This day presents another opportunity for students to build their confidence, resilience and social connections with their peers, contributing in a positive way towards their social, emotional and physical health and wellbeing.
Places at the Adventure Day Camp are limited, so get in asap. Payment of $90 is due on Compass by, Thursday 8 August.
