Reading strategies support students in their reading journey, providing important tools to help them decode and better understand the texts they read.  

 

This week, a focus strategy has been, Visualising Raccoon. Visualising Raccoon asks students to consider the descriptive language used within a text and create images of what they have read in their mind.
