It is so beautiful to see our junior students looking after our garden, taking their own initiative to water the plants at the lunch breaks. The friendships and conversations that take place while students do this is such a delight to see as children from different year levels work together to look after our garden.
Today we had the first of our Prep Transition Days. It was a wonderful start for the children as they met some new friends and engaged in some fun learning at school!
This week in Fit Club with the St Kevin's students and Ms Rachel McLeary. Fit Club runs every Thursday morning before school. All welcome!
A special thank you to Serene (Max's mum) who led the Children's Liturgy last Sunday in my absence.
The next children's liturgy will be held on Sunday 10th of November, as this weekend is a long weekend.
Here is this week's Kids Bulletin:
Children's Liturgy Dates for Term 4:

As part of the PE program our Year 3 to 6 students participated in Bike Ed organised by Ms Rachel McLeary. On Wednesday our 5/6 stduents took to the road and bike paths and enjoyed a ride all the way to Hawthorn Velodrome. This was a great popportunity for the children to out their bike skill into practice and to think about road safety as well. This was a very enjoyable way to end the Bike Ed program.
From Ms Rachel McLeary:
Over the past 5 PE lessons the year 5/6 students have been developing their cycling skills through the Bike Ed program which was run on site and along the adjoining road to learn how to ride safely on the road. This work was all leading to students developing the confidence to complete “The Big Bike Ride” which took place this week, where they used the skills learnt on our ride to Hawthorn Velodrome along the Main Yarra Trail and Gardiners Creek trails. We had a fantastic time exploring the local cycle tracks and students displayed great resilience in stepping up to the challenge of completing a large group ride. Thank you to Mr Anania, Ms O’Connor, and especially Ms Georgia who did the ride twice!
If at any time you would like to chat about the learning at Trinity, or you have any questions or concerns about your child's learning, please do not hesitate to see your child's teacher, or myself.
