On the 21st of October, Ryder H represented our school in High Jump! He made it through all previous competitions all the way to the finals, what an incredible achievement on its own! All of his efforts to get here have been widely acknowledged and respected, we were all rooting for you. You may not have came 1st, but in our eyes your an absolute star! We also thank the Hansen family for taking the time to take Ryder to his competition, it wouldn’t have been possible without you.

Basketball finals

On Friday 18th, our boys team competed in the Division Summer Sport Championship in Basketball, a huge achievement to reach in itself! Hudson, Max, Ryder H, Alfie, Deon, and Tyson F made up our incredibly skilled team, each and every one of them contributed to the team with grit, skill, high energy and focus to represent our school, and we are proud of their efforts on the day!! Coming so close to a win, finishing only a few points behind with blood sweat and tears. We’re so proud of you all! We also want to thank all families who took the time to take the boys to their final game, they definitely earned it.

Prep - 2

During weeks three and four, our preps - 2 experienced mini versions of Cricket and Hockey! It was fantastic to watch them begin to make connections between sports, and fundamental skills we have learned throughout the previous year/s. Well done!

Grades 3 - 4

During weeks three and four, both 3/4 classes followed suit with the younger grades with experiencing mini versions of Cricket and Hockey, building on the Hockey skills they learned earlier in the year, and connecting their knowledge about Baseball and Hockey to Crickey - fantastic conections! In Cricket, we played a version called Tippety, where evereyone had a go at batting and fielding. Go everyone for giving it your best efforts, no matter what Cricket skills you started with!

Grades 5 - 6

During weeks three and four, both 5/6 classes reviewed their Cricket knowledge, whilst included co-creating the success criteria that each class would be working towards during their mini cricket game. Their mini cricket game was played in the form of Tippety, where all teams worked well together in whilst having fun. They have also continued their Tuesday sessions dedicated to their fitness circuits and enjoying some fun games like of dodgeball and slapball.
