2024 House Cup

Congratulations to Harold House for taking out the 2024 House Cup. It was a close finish with Ignatius House finishing 1½ points behind in second place. The House Cup is an annual inter-house competition in which students can participate in a variety of events across Academic, Cultural and Sporting areas. The final standings for 2024 were:

This week sees the start of the 2025 House Cup with the Ignatius Chess Competition being held in Break 1 every day this week and the Gilroy ASH Dash in House Meeting time tomorrow. Good luck to all the students competing in these events. 

Student Absentees – Late Arrivals

Students are required to be at school before the first bell rings at 8.30 am each morning. Students who arrive late are required to sign in at Student Admin before going to class.  Parents will receive an SMS message if the student presents without an acceptable reason for being late. If your son has a medical appointment, we ask that you notify us via Parent Orbit/Absences tile. 

Pastoral Awards – Awards Night Monday 14 October

Congratulations to the following students who received the Three Violets Pastoral Award at our Awards Night at QPAC last Monday. The three violets are a special symbol of the Marist community and represent the virtues of Modesty, Humility and Simplicity. The Three Violets Award is a way of applauding gentle, positive and respectful behaviours. 

Year 11 – Senior Jerseys for 2025

Orders for the 2025 senior jersey are now open. An email was sent to all families last week with the booking link. We have sample sizes for students to try on in Student Admin. All orders must be received by Friday 8 November 2024.
