This week the teachers and students continued to focus on the value of RESPECT “Be ready for learning”. This was to help students settle back into school for term 4. The students practiced strategies to help regulate themselves if they are not ready for learning.
Here is one of our lucky raffle winners from last week who has been demonstrating our school wide expected behaviours.

Student Representative Council Term 4
On Monday 14th October, the term 4 SRC reps were officially presented with their SRC badges at a whole school Morning gathering in the hall. Congratulations again to the following students.
From Learning Space 1: Ariana and Sean (Juniors) and Layla and Odin (Seniors).
From Learning Space 2, Havannah and Isabella B (Juniors) and Prue and Dakshan (Seniors)
From Learning Space 3, Macey and Mia J (Juniors) and Grace B and Gerwin (Seniors).
We had our 2nd SRC meeting on Monday 14th October. The SRC representatives shared their ideas with the group.
Here’s what 2 of our Senior SRC reps had to say…..
All students at SFS get to have a say in decisions in the school even if they are not chosen as the SRC rep. There is an SRC box in each learning space where children can write down their suggestions and ideas for the SRC reps to bring to our weekly meeting to share.
