Assistant Principals' Report

Dear HPS Community,

Hello and welcome to our newsletter item for this week. 

Today we are hearing from Year 6 students, Clara, Josh and James who are writing about our recent visit from Viewbank College's band. We wish to thank the teachers and students from Viewbank College who organised and attended the event. It was a lovely way to spend a sunny, lunch break!

On Wednesday, the 16th of October the wonderful Viewbank College Band came to our

 school to perform four amazing songs in our first break of the day. It was a very lovely and sunny day, perfect for the excellent performance. Lots of kids gathered around in the COLA to listen. 

They had different instruments such as drums, saxophone, trumpet and trombones. They all sounded great. It was like the musical notes came to life. They flew like a bird in the air to our ears. One of the songs they played was from the video game, Undertale. 

If we could choose any band in the world to perform at our school it would be the Viewbank College Band. All in all, we would like to thank Viewbank College for performing at Heidelberg Primary School. 

Based on this recount, I think our students were impressed with the performance!
