Grade 2 | Wattle 

Grade 2 students have made a wonderful start to term 4. All students have returned to school ready to learn with a willingness to take on new challenges, to work on achieving personal goals and to enjoy the experiences that the final term brings. To finish off some work we have been doing in Science we have created some galaxy art work using black paper, oil pastels and white paint. We enjoyed this activity, especially flicking the paint and we were pretty pleased with the outcomes. 

At the end of last term we used our imaginations to create aliens.  We began by writing our names in large letters on the back of a folded piece of paper. We then cut around the letters to create wacky shapes which became the bodies of our aliens. We then let our imaginations run wild using a variety of materials.
