Highlight

Last Friday, we celebrated our 100 Days of school. We had so much fun making crowns and bracelets, decorating cookies and, of course, walking in our parade. Thank-you so much to all of the families that came along to help us celebrate!

Ready! Steady! Go! This week we held our Potato Olympics and had a blast. Our potatoes participated in a rolling race, long jump, weighlifting and even breakdancing. Students developed their understanding of measurement by using unifix blocks, their feet, rulers and timers to measure length and time. Keep an eye out on Seesaw for some pictures of our olympics.

Next week we have 3-Way Conferences, Indonesian Day and Science Week. 3-Way conferences are a wonderful opportunity for your child to share about life at school and the things they are proud of. Please ensure that you bring your child along to your scheduled time.

Indonesian Day will be held on Thursday 15th August. Students are encouraged to wear Indonesian clothing (sarongs, batik etc) or Red and White clothing (the colours of the flag).

To celebrate Science Week, we will be holding a science focused Play Based Learning during the week. Students will have the opportunity to participate in many hands on activity that explore different scientfic concepts including space, weather, forces etc.

Have a wonderful afternoon,

Tegan, Emma and Ashley
