Highlights
Selamat Siang
Have you been watching the Olympics and thinking, "Wow, these athletes create some serious angles with their bodies and equipment!"? We have!
This week's Maths sessions focused on discovering angles in the real world, with activities in drawing, naming, comparing, and measuring them! Students demonstrated high levels of engagement by creating an individual 'Angles Machine' that assisted in classifying and identifying a variety of angles such as obtuse, right, reflex, and straight. The highlight of the week was getting a closer look at certain athletes and drawing the angles they could see in the image then making angles with our own bodies and the environment!
Where else can you observe angles in everyday life?
Have a great week!
Brooke, Ros, Meg, Sam, Kathy and Katrina
