Leadership Centre

Highlight

Selamat siang,

It’s been a pleasure seeing all the smiling students returning back to school after last week’s City Camp!

And off we go… from the streets of Melbourne to the 2024 Olympics in Paris. The 5s and 6s have been exploring the mathematics of various sports: 100m Sprints, Javelin, Soccer, Shot Put and Synchronised Diving. Have you wondered how divers get scored in their events? Or how angles play a role in kicking a ball? How was the winner of the 100m Men’s Sprints decided when both Lyles and Richardson ran a 9.37s sprint? We’ve been dissecting these questions and many more this week.

Have a restful weekend and enjoy the last of the 2024 Olympics.
