2024 Book of the Year Awards: Early Childhood Shortlisted
On Thursday August 15th, Jane Godwin will be visiting our school to talk to students about reading and writing. Jane is a highly acclaimed author of over forty books for children and young people. Jane’s picture books include: Go Go and the Silver Shoes, Tilly, Don’t Forget and Sing Me the Summer.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to continue to engage with literature and learn even more about the practices of professional authors and how they write the interesting and engaging stories we love.
Students also have the opportunity to pre-purchase books! To order go to: www.lamontauthors.com.au and select “Buy our Author’s Books”. All orders must be completed by 1st August to receive the books in time to be signed during Jane’s visit.
Thank you
