Sculpture Class visit Rochester's Shine Bright

On Wednesday 7 August, our Yr 8/9 sculpture class visited the Rochester Shine Bright EYM kindergarten as the first step in a creative collaboration.

RSC students sat with, chatted to, and encouraged the kinder kids who drew everything from cars and cows to dragons and mermaids. The drawings will be interpreted by our sculpture students, turning the 2-dimensional illustrations into 3-dimensional clay pieces. Stay tuned for more!

Sincere thanks to Madelin and the Shine Bright crew for welcoming us into the space and to the kinder kids for their energy and focus.

Our sculpture students were exceptional in the way they approached the opportunity. We are very proud of you all!
