Years 5 & 6

We had a bit of a reunion this week with Miss P’ s old Yr 2/4 class now the Yr 3/5/6. (After 35 years it is hard for Miss P to move on!) We did some emu art to compliment our Humanities theme of Aboriginal connection to country. In writing we learnt about comparative connectives and applied this to writing a response to ‘Would you Rather…’ questions. Eg ‘ Would you rather have the ability to fly or be invisible?’ In Science we began a unit on Force and Motion by learning about friction. Be sure to ask your child about the interesting experiments we did and maybe try some at home!
