Years 2 & 3

Week 1 of Term 3 started with the unexpected surprise of Miss P teaching in the Year 2/3 room. We all had a lovely week and played some fun spelling and maths games whilst also fitting in some solid work. Everyone was given the challenge of writing a recount of their holiday in exactly 40 or 50 words. This meant some serious thought be given to what information was important and how to write it succinctly. You can read the results below.

We also worked on place value into the thousands and learnt about nouns and pronouns. Year 3 students have begun studying Aboriginal connection to country and created some bright emu art in response to a Dreamtime story.
