Inquiry

This term’s major Inquiry Unit focuses on the Earth, Sun & Moon. We will explore in detail, the divisions of the Earth in terms of the poles and the equator, eclipses, the seasons and the movement and phases of the moon. Students will experience ‘The Science Discovery Dome’ providing expert knowledge and engaging activities related to the inquiry. 

Our mini- inquiry will focus on erosion and the impact on Australian landmarks such as the Twelve Apostles. We will take the students to the Brighton Beach to observe evidence of erosion, conduct experiments and to suggest solutions for our community.
