As we look ahead to 2026, we warmly welcome Miss Plumridge, Ms Chen, and Miss Meiszies to our teaching team and school community. We also welcome back Mrs Smith from maternity leave
At the same time, we say farewell, to the following staff members:
Mrs Taylor, retiring after many years of service as an Education Support staff member and past POPS parent. She has been a tireless contributor to our school, supporting students, organising costumes and props, and enriching our productions in countless ways.

Mrs Williams (Formerly Miss Jacob), a much-loved former POPS student and lifelong member of our school community, will be moving with her family to San Remo. She has been an integral part of our school, teaching many POPS students over the years and supporting their families with genuine care and dedication.

Ms Hahn leaves after five years at POPS to become a Leading Teacher- Disability Inclusion at Donnybrook PS. Her hard work, professionalism, and leadership have been greatly valued. She has served as a member of School Council, led the implementation of The Resilience Project, and, for the past two years, has been the school’s Disability Inclusion Leader.

Miss Robison, who taught Year 2 this year and has done a wonderful job supporting her students and their families. She will be continuing her career at Hartwell PS.

We say “see you later for now”, to:
Miss Brincat, who will be moving to Blackburn Lake PS for 12 months. Mrs Puckering, who will take a well-deserved year of leave to travel Australia, returning in 2027. Miss Munforte, will return for the start of 2026, before taking maternity leave to have her baby.
We thank each of these staff for their commitment, care, and contributions to POPS. They will be greatly missed, and we wish them every success and happiness in their next chapter.
Don't forget tomorrow is Festive Dress day and Walk to School. You can donate to the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.
Have a great weekend.

STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS
Congratulations to the Future Stars Hooptime team for competing in the State Finals, last Thursday. They did an outstanding job representing our school and showcasing their skills on the court. Well done Zara I, Evie B, Zahra T, Leah A, Emilie W, Lucy M and Eva A. Thanks to Mr Archard for coaching these superstars!

From Harvey G: A huge thank you to our wonderful POPS community for your generosity in supporting Harvey G’s donation drive for the Koala Kids Foundation. Thanks to you, Harvey has collected an incredible 155 lip balms! These small but mighty gifts make a big difference for children undergoing cancer treatment. They help soothing dry, cracked lips during chemo and helping mask the smell of anaesthetic gas with comforting scents. Thank you for helping make a difference.
