Music Soiree Tuesday 25th November
Next Tuesday 25 November, we will be holding our final Music Soirée for the year. The event will take place in the School Hall from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. We invite students who play a musical instrument or sing to participate in the Soirée. As the performance will be held during school hours and time is limited, places will be restricted. If you would like your child/ren to take part, please click HERE. Return the form to your child’s classroom teacher, the school office, or directly to Ms Exintaris by Friday 21 November. We look forward to seeing you at the Soirée and celebrating the wonderful musical achievements of our students!
Christmas Raffle - Seeking Donations
Our Prep families are organising the Toorak Primary School Christmas Raffle for 2025. The raffle will be drawn at the final assembly of the term. We are currently seeking donations of quality food and drink items, beauty products, fitness products, homewares, and other thoughtful gifts. If you, or anyone you know, are able to donate items towards our hamper prizes, please get in touch with one of our Prep Class Reps:

Glow School Disco this Friday!
Our annual glow disco is this Friday 21st November.
Grade Prep to Grade 2: 5pm to 6:15pm
Grade 3 to Grade 6: 6:30pm to 7:45pm
Tickets are $12 on sale via Qkr. Prizes, glow packs and a calming room will be available for children to enjoy on the evening.
Volunteers Morning Tea
We are delighted to invite all our wonderful volunteers to a special morning tea in the library on Thursday 27th November from 8.30am to 9:30am. If you’ve volunteered in any capacity, we’d love for you to join us! This event is a heartfelt opportunity for our staff to thank you for your time, effort, and contributions that have helped create such a strong community spirit at Toorak Primary School.
Prep to Year 2 Sports and Athletics Carnival
Our Prep to Year 2 Sports and Athletics Carnival will be held on Thursday the 27th of November, starting at 12pm. Students will take part in a range of fun athletics events and team activities.
Students are encouraged to wear their house coloured polo tops. Families are invited to come along and cheer. We look forward to a wonderful afternoon of house spirit and enthusiasm!
Can you Assist with Contacting Library Books?
Exciting news! Our library has a wonderful collection of brand-new, latest addition books, ready to be explored by our students next year. We would love your support in contacting them so they’re ready for our eager readers. Bags of these books are ready to be picked up at the library. Think of contacting books as a meditative activity—calming, satisfying, and a great way to relax whilst preparing for holidays. A friendly reminder: our Library Stocktake will take place in the Week starting the 8th of December, so all borrowed books will need to be returned before then.
School Holiday Birdsitter
We require a family or families to look after our aviary birds during the school holidays. If you are interested, please email the office at toorak.ps@education.vic.gov.au
Do you have a Centrelink Healthcare Card? Read on..........
If you hold a Centrelink Health Care Card, you will be eligible in 2026 to receive a $400 payment from the State Government. This payment is made directly to the school and can be used for school camps, swimming programs
and excursions and incursions.
Please submit your CSEF application (click HERE form), along with a copy of your Health Care Card, via email totoorak.ps@education.vic.gov.au by 27 January 2026.
Second Hand Uniform Open 26th November
Our next Second-hand uniform stall will be open for our 2026 Foundation and current families between 10.30am and 11.30 in the library on-

Our third session of our Foundation 2026 Transition Program is on Wednesday 26th November.

Toorak's Got Talent - Save the Date
TGT will be held on Monday, 15 December
Final Acts will close on Wednesday, 10 December. Each item must be a maximum of 3 minutes
Whole School Transiton Day
On Tuesday 9th December, from 9am to 2pm, our Whole School Transiton Day will take place. Students will find out who their classroom teacher and classmates will be for 2026 as well as the location of their classroom.
Songs of Celebration
Our End of Year Celebration will be held on Tuesday, 9 December, from 5pm to 6pm. Students from all year levels will perform a song, and the performance will take place outside (weather permitting).
