Carols Celebration

We would like to thank everyone who came along to the St Paul Lutheran Church Christmas Carols on Sunday evening. The event was a great success and a lovely opportunity for community connection. Thank you to our Choir children for leading us in their songs and actions and to the families for attending as well. We would also like to extend our thanks to the Church organising team for putting together such a wonderful event and to our teachers and staff who came along to help out.

We thank them all for their service to our school community and we wish every blessing for next year. We will farewell these staff and others previously mentioned at Closing Worship next Wednesday

We would also like to share that we have two new teachers joining our team next year. We welcome Raquelle Ludewig and Lauren Depares to our teaching team. You may recognise these familiar names, as both Raquelle and Lauren completed their final pre-service teaching placements with us at St Paul this year. We are also finalising one remaining classroom teaching position which will be announced soon.

Next year, we will welcome Erin Gracey to the role of Wellbeing Co-ordinator 3 days a week. We look forward to having Erin supporting our team when Jessica Robinson goes on maternity leave part way through Term 1. Nicole Tew, one of our classroom teachers will be taking on a different role next year, supporting our Inclusive Education team in an LSO position.

Closing Worship

Please join us next Wednesday morning when our Leadership Team will lead us in Closing Worship on the tennis courts at 9am. This will mark the final day of our school term together, which finishes at the usual time of 3:15pm. During this time, we will farewell our Senior class and any staff members leaving our school community at the end of this year. Please note, due to the event being held on the courts, we will not have our usual court parking available for families in the morning. We hope to see you there.

Cyber Safety Project

Lutheran Education SA, NT, WA has shared a helpful resource for families ahead of the upcoming Social Media Changes. Please see below a resource that you may find useful as we begin to navigate the new changes to Australian social media legislation.

The Cyber Safety Project has developed a Social Media Delay – Parent Toolkit. This resource is designed for schools to share with parents and their wider community and includes:

•              Clear guidance on the new laws and their implications

•              Practical strategies for families to manage the transition

•              Conversation starters to help parents support their children

•              Tips for saving content before accounts are suspended or deleted

These changes take effect on 10 December 2025. The Cyber Safety Project toolkit offers timely, practical support for families and will remain updated to reflect the latest advice from eSafety.
