Year 12 Report

This year, our Year 12 students truly made the most of every opportunity both academically and socially. The study space became a second home, with students maximising every opportunity to revise, collaborate, and prepare for assessments. Many arrived early in the mornings and stayed late into the afternoons, showing a commitment to their learning that set a strong example for younger year levels.

Beyond the classroom, Year 12 embraced the full calendar of events with enthusiasm. This year’s staff versus student activities brought plenty of excitement, with competitions in Downball, Netball, Basketball, and Footy, as well as a crowd‑pleasing Mario Kart tournament that had everyone cheering. The dress‑up days added even more fun to the school's calendar, with themes ranging from 'Future Careers' to a cosy PJ day and a nostalgic throwback to primary school uniforms.

Participation was outstanding across the board, with our Year 12 students enjoying their 'final' school events. The last Swimming Carnival, the last Cross Country and the last Athletics Day were all great examples of the cohort’s enthusiasm, with their involvement adding to the energy and enjoyment of the day.

To conclude their schooling, Year 12 celebrated with a series of memorable farewell events that captured the achievements of the cohort. The final assembly featured a video that reflected on their journey through the years, bringing smiles and a few tears as students looked back on shared experiences. A last‑day breakfast gave everyone the chance to gather one last time with bacon and egg rolls and the company of friends and teachers. The Valedictory Dinner provided a fitting finale, honouring the hard work, resilience, and contributions of the graduating class while marking the beginning of their next chapter beyond school.

As the graduating class, the Year 12 students have demonstrated not only academic dedication but also a vibrant sense of community. Their ability to balance hard work with celebration has left a lasting mark on the school, and they will be remembered for their leadership, spirit, and the joy they brought to every occasion.
