Haven Team Member Award- Awarded to Ellie!
This award was peer-voted and awarded to someone who embodies the Haven’s values. This person was recognized as being kind, knowledgeable, passionate, motivated, supportive and an incredibly hard worker. This person strives to keep achieving more, to keep adapting, to keep smiling and creating educational and inclusive for the children, families and staff.
Haven Kindness Award- Awarded to Paris!
This award goes to someone who spreads happiness around Haven and is always kind to all the children, staff and families. This person puts a smile on everyone’s face, will always help wherever she can and has a genuine level of love, care and kindness for those around her.
Haven Growth Award- Awarded to Maggie!
This award goes to someone who has shown big growth in 2025 in their confidence, accountability, experiences and interactions. They are constantly learning from within and the team members around them while being continually positive and having a can do attitude.
Haven Engagement Award- Awarded to Karen!
This award goes to someone who has literally engaged with every room across Haven this year being a reliable, supportive and creative team member. They have built connections and will always respond with ‘no worries can do’ while wanting to encompasses the Haven philosophy.
Staff allocations for 2026
For children moving into new rooms, their first day will be the 5th Jan, which also includes any booking changes (unless notified). Our leadership team and educator placements for 2026 will consist of:
River Room Lead Educator- Danielle Smith

Sun Room Lead Educator- Ann-Maree Mudie
Issy, Charlotte J, Maggie, Jane, Mel, Nai and Paris
Forest Room 3 Year Old Kinder Teacher - Lauren Malcolm
Sikha, Shivi, Ash, Ruby and Karla
Field Room 4 Year Old Kinder Teacher- Eleanor Wanless
Jess, Isabelle B and Tanika.
*Caila Hunt (ECT) will be welcomed back from maternity leave (likely term 2).

Assistant Director- Kristyn King
Support Educators- Julia (Chef), Cailtyn, Makayla, Tejal, Sam, Ulka and Karen
All educators placed in a room will be working on a permanent between 3-5 days a week. Please reach out to each lead educator (via email) if you have any questions.
Years of Service
This year, we have welcomed back Kristyn and Charlotte, while also welcoming in Makayla, Dani B, Ruby and Karen.
We have had lots of 1 year celebrations for Ash, Polin, Mel, Nai, Paris, Maggie and Isabelle
2 years for Chethi, Shivi, Jane, Ulka and (almost) Lauren. 3 years forIssy and 4 years for Caitlyn, Kayleigh, Julia, Tanika and (almost) Ellie.
Tejal has reached 5 years with Danni, Karla, Nicole and Jess achieving 6 years.
Sam, Ann-Maree and Bronwyn at 8 years, with
Caila 9 years and Sikha 14 years with the company.

October
As voted by management went to Tanika for her nurturing and kind approach to all children in the River room including their families.
As voted by Haven team members went to Ash for bringing her postivity, laugh and passion into the Forest room alongside fun for all the children, families and staff.
November
As voted by management went to Kayleigh for her creativity in providing children different experiences and being a steady supportive and kind team member to everyone.
As voted by Haven team members went to Mel for her consistency, drive to keep learning and willingness to take on new tasks including the kitchen.
