PTFA

The end of the year is close, but the PTFA still has lots of fun install for our students. Next week we will have the colour run, this is an opportunity to have lots of fun and raise funds to purchase equipment and work on the sanctuary so it can be better utilised by our students. We also have the Christmas raffle, 3 prizes per class. Students enjoy hearing the raffle being drawn and it’s great to hear the cheers down the hall as friends’ names are being called.
The PTFA would also like to congratulate all the Year 6s on completing their primary school years and we hope they look back fondly on their time at CPS and the activities the PTFA put on. As part of their send-off, the PTFA pays for the Graduation lunch at La Porchetta and the beautiful cupcakes the students get to enjoy for their Graduation afternoon tea. We wish all the Year 6s all the best for their secondary school journeys.
The PTFA has contributed to the fun and community feel of the school as well as raising funds to purchase equipment and bring improvements to the school to benefit all students. However, the current committee members have been running the PTFA for about 4 years and as their children are in the Senior school with limited years left at the school, it is time for a new team to take over.
To ensure the PTFA continues all the good work, we need new members to join and learn how the PTFA work, bring new ideas and continue and improve on the work already done to ensure the continuation of the PTFA. It is not a lot of work to do, and we are very fortunate with lots of great families at the school that are always ready to support and volunteer on the days for all events.
Over the Christmas break, perhaps talking with other families from the school, a new committee can be born. Anyone interested in joining the PTFA, or wanting to know more about it, please talk to any of our current members or email PTFAPRESIDENTCPS@GMAIL.COM
We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year and holiday period.
We look forward to seeing all the students back next year and welcoming the new Foundation students and families to our school so the learning and fun can continue in 2026!
