Community and Family Engagement

Thank you - 2025 SMCM Community Fair

A massive thank you to everyone who participated in our Fair on Saturday 22nd March - it was such a successful event that celebrated the amazing community of SMCM and Epping/Wollert and also raised significant money for our school. To those who volunteered their time on the day and in the week leading up to it, thank you for your support.

This event would not have been possible without a core team of dedicated volunteers organising it. They met weekly this term to finalise all the details and started almost nine months ago - a wonderful congratulations and thanks to:

  • Kristy Sammut (Luca's mum from Year 5)
  • Lauren Morrone (Milio, Tiano and Viv's mum from Year 5, Year 2 and Prep)
  • Christine Kenney (Samuel and Liana's mum from Year 4 and Year 1)
  • Tatiana Santef (Sofia and Jacob's mum from Year 6 and Year 3)
  • Angela Micallef (Scarlet and Romeo's mum from Year 6 and Year 3)
  • Corina Ragona (Salvatore and Scarlett's mum from Year 4 and Year 1)
  • Natalie Farrugia (Tommy's mum from year 3)

And of course to Claire - the success of any of our school events would not be possible if it were not for her always pushing to make things bigger, better and more exciting for the children and their families.

We are so grateful to the following businesses who donated prizes to our raffle and lucky envelopes:

Congratulations!

Congratulations to all our raffle prize winners. Massimo from Year 1 was very happy to hear the news that he had won first prize of a $1500 EFTPOS Gift card! He didn't believe everyone at first!
