Christmas Message

Message from the Principal

Dear Families,

Congratulations to our Graduating Class of 2024

I see empathy, kindness, resilience, and leadership in this group of young adults. But most of all, they have a deep love for their school, their teachers, and their friends.

I want to thank the parents and carers of our graduating class for the support they offer the school, the way their children present every day, and the trust they have placed in me to lead our community.  Together we have shaped these amazing young people to be the academics, musicians, carers, athletes, and leaders of the future.

Outstanding Service Award

The St Therese's Outstanding Service Award is an opportunity to offer affirmation to individuals or families who have contributed to the well-being of our community in a manner considered to be well above what is usually expected or offered. The School Advisory Council decides upon the awards.

This year's Award recipient is Amelia 'Millie' Bourke. Millie has been a member of the School Advisory Council, the President, and an active member of the P & F for many years, from organizing the Easter egg raffle to creating the Recipe Book to laying turf and everything in between.  Millie has been a constant supporter of our students, the school, the leadership of the time, and the teaching staff.  Thank you for all you have given so willingly to our community.

It is a privilege to lead this beautiful school community, one that I am truly grateful for. Thank you for your continued support this year and for your trust in us.

I wish you all a Holy and Happy Christmas period and a safe, relaxing,

and a fun holiday with your loved ones.

I am looking forward to seeing all our families come together as a learning community.

Library News

Many thanks to Marcene Haythorpe for kindly donating hours of her time again this year to manage the Scholastic Book Club.  So many students and families are very grateful and our school library and community benefits from all the sales as we accrue points.  We then use these points to order more books and other resources for our school.

Thank you, Marcene!
