Behaviour & Expectations
School Expectations:
At Aberfeldie, we have three clearly defined expectations for behaviour that apply to all students, in all settings. These are:
‘We are Respectful’ means treating everyone and everything with kindness and care.
‘We are Responsible’ means doing what is expected and owning our actions.
‘We try our Best’ means putting effort into everything we do.
Expected Behaviour Matrix:
The Aberfeldie Expected Behaviour Matrix defines what these expectations explicitly look like in all settings across the school. At Aberfeldie, we teach social skills and behaviour as relentlessly as we teach reading or writing. Each week, a behaviour skill from the Matrix is explicitly taught to all classes.
