World Teachers’ Day 2025

31 October 2025– Help Us Celebrate!

Tomorrow we honour World Teachers’ Day, a fantastic opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the dedication, professionalism, and passion of our teaching staff at Woodville Gardens School.

Each day, our teachers go above and beyond to support, encourage, and inspire our students, making a meaningful impact on their learning and wellbeing.

We invite our school community to join us in saying thank you and helping celebrate the wonderful work our teachers do. A kind word, card, or simple gesture of appreciation can make a big difference and reminds our staff how valued they are.

Thank you for your ongoing support in recognising the outstanding contributions of our teachers.

Parent information regarding classes and placement 2025/2026

At Woodville Gardens School, the process of planning for future classes is an important and ongoing endeavour. We strongly value our community’s input into class placements to ensure the best possible outcomes for all students.

Please note, once classes are finalised, changes to placements will only occur in the event of unforeseen enrolment variations or changes to staff.

As the structure of classes depends on the number of enrolments, it is extremely helpful for our planning if we are informed of any students who may be leaving at the end of the year, as well as any new enrolments being considered for the following year.

If your children will be leaving the school, we encourage you to notify the Front Office or contact Scott Foale via email at scott.foale527@schools.sa.edu.au

Our aim is to establish balanced classes, with flexibility to accommodate enrolments at every year level. In making class placement decisions, we consider factors such as student numbers, balance, social and intellectual development, learning needs, physical development, emotional maturity, chronological age, and requests. The primary focus of this process is student learning, not friendships. Our staff are highly knowledgeable about our students and make class placement decisions with care and professionalism.

We thank you for your support and input and look forward to delivering an effective class placement process for the coming school year.
