Our first round of electives have finished up this week. We've been so impressed with the level of engagement, enjoyment and connection between students from different classes.

Kathryn and the Kitchen Garden crew made a Rustic Easter Apple Tart this week. Here is the recipe if you'd like to try it at home.
Bottle top maths in 2/3
The 2/3 class used our growing bottle top collection for a maths lesson today. They counted the colours in 3 different ways. For example by 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s etc… our biggest collection is the white bottle tops with 286 followed closely behind by green and then blue. The total number was just under 1000. We are hoping to collect somewhere between 8000 and 10000 for our colourful mural, so keep them coming! Thank you to all those families who have collected, cleaned and carried to school their contributions.
