Religious Education
This Thursday 21st March staff and students from Sacred Heart school will attend the Harmony Day/ Commitment Mass at St Mary’s Church at 10:00am. We welcome families and friends to join us. Harmony Week is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. We encourage everyone to wear a splash of orange to show your support and promote Harmony Day.
Last week many of our students predominantly from Year 2 and Year 5, received their Sacrament of Reconciliation. We are quite privileged to have such an amazing parish priest and such a special person in Fr Michael O’Toole to support and guide us in this sacrament and all we do at Sacred Heart.
With just over a week till school holidays and therefore just over a week to donate to Caritas Australia Project Compassion Appeal Donation boxes for Project Compassion have been placed in each classroom and at the front office.
