Jury Prize awarded to Gabe Hartshorne

In the last edition of the newsletter, you would have read one of our students, Gabe Hartshorne, made it into Top Screen as part of the VCAA “Season of Excellence”.

ACMI hosted the premiere of Top Screen on 15 March. Top Screen is a film program consisting of the top 14 VCE Media short films from Victorian Media students in 2023.  

A very special congratulations go out to NHS student Gabe Hartshorne who ended up winning the Jury Prize for his stunning thriller “CAT.” 

Gabe’s film will play at ACMI regularly and Melbourne Museum’s Top Designs exhibit, which launches 23rd March. If you see it, make sure to put in an audience vote so we can clean sweep the prize pool!
