Year 8 Volleyball

Congratulations to our Year 8 Volleyball teams who competed in the Divisonal competition on March 14 at Darebin Community Sports Stadium. With 2 boys teams and 2 Girls teams competing, we were kept busy throughout the day. All students should be congratulated on their teamwork and fantastic attitude on the day. Congratulations also to our Girls A team who after finishing top of their pool played off in the grand final to win against Lalor. They have now qualified to compete at Regionals later in the year.

Year 8 Division Tennis

Today we competed in tennis divisionals and played against schools like Lalor, Thorunbury, St. John's, Preston and William Ruthvens. All schools put up a fair fight and both the boys and girls team won the finals and have made it through to the next round.

At year 8 division tennis the boys played Lalor, Preston, Thornbury and Saint Johns. It didn’t start well because we lost against lalor by one game. But after that we picked up our game and beat every other school. By ideal circumstances we went through to regionals.
