Sustainability in Action

Harvesting Our Fresh Produce

Over the past 3 weeks we have been picking fresh tomatoes, beans, peas, lettuces, silverbeet and a range of herbs from our school veggie gardens. These veggies have been grown and harvested by our John Paul II students.

The students were very excited to deliver fresh

produce to our Little Dove Cafe to be used in the

school lunch program to be enjoyed by our students.

Youth Climate Leaders Conference

Last week, our Grade 5/6 Sustainability Leaders,  Nash, Ned, Oliver, Jaxson, Rebecka, Lily, Ella and Brock attended this conference at the University of Tasmania. Congratulations to our students on listening well throughout the conference, and learning lots about Climate Change and how this is affecting our planet. They will now look at developing a climate action project to run at our school.
