Kinder News

Purple Group

In Purple Group, our three-year-old kindergarteners have embarked on an exciting journey exploring the concept of families. This exploration has included not only their own families but also a diverse array of families depicted in stories.

With the invaluable support of our families, we've collaboratively created a unique family book. It's been heart warming to witness the children's joy as they see their own pictures within its pages.

Moreover, the children have enjoyed playing with their family photos that have been attached wooden blocks. The children have been using the blocks to go on adventures including riding their family blocks on toy cars, transporting them in wheelbarrows outdoors, and even building cosy homes for them out of other wooden blocks. This imaginative play has served as a wonderful opportunity for our young learners to initiate new friendships. As they share their family blocks with peers, discussions naturally arise about each child's family, fostering respectful listening and understanding among peers.

Looking ahead, we're eagerly anticipating our upcoming fire truck incursion at the end of the week—a exciting addition to enrich our learning experiences.
